Lids

It is better not to use a lid that is too tight with this kind of jar -- the jar can explode. If you use a canning jar lid, make it a little loose. Or, you can use a plastic lid, which GEM Cultures sells (those lids can be found in some stores also). The picture on the left shows some Kefiili in a jar with a plastic lid.
